About the Founder

Milca Perez (she/her) is a dedicated changemaker with over ten years of professional experience and academic achievements. She is focused on long-term goals in holistic sustainability for families and communities.

Milca is passionate about the circular economy, incorporating design, systems thinking, placemaking and spirituality into sustainable living.

In 2023, she received the EPA Sustainability Award (Community) and the Huon Valley Citizen of the Year award.

She enjoys gardening, crop swaps, clothes swaps, carpooling, mending, permaculture and astro-herbalism.
